The Big Step

On July 30, 2008, Iwas able to enter into the Jordan River Temple to receive my Endowments. For any of you that don't understand what that means, it's a pretty big deal in my church. It was a very special experience. My husband, parents, brother, and sister-in-laws were there with me. These pics were taken outside after the session was over. The last picture is the view of the valley from the temple doors. I loved it!

CCWS

On Saturday, Kuso and a few of his friends from school in Samoa got together for a small CCWS (Church Colllege of Western Samoa) reunion. There was enough food to feed 50, but there were only 7 of us there! It was a lot of fun.

Samoan Heritage Festival

This past week was the Samoan Heritage Festival at Wheeler Farm. Aukuso performed with his dance group on 3 different nights, he was on Fox 13 news promoting the event, he was in the Days of '47 Parade with the marching band (with a close up), and he played in the rugby tournament. Needless to say, he was extremely busy, which kept me busy!
